HPLC Determination of Sulfosuccinic Acid on Newcrom BH Column Chromatogramm

High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) Method for Analysis of Sulfosuccinic Acid.

Sulfosuccinic acid is a surfactant with the chemical formula C4H6O7S . It is used as a dispersing agent in pesticides, herbicides, and pigments. In fertilizers, it is used as a complexing agent. It is also used to enhance solubility and bioavailability of drugs in oral dosages.

Sulfosuccinic acid can be retained on the Newcrom BH mixed-mode column using an isocratic analytical method with a simple mobile phase of water, acetonitrile (MeCN, ACN), and sulphuric acid (H2SO4) buffer. The analysis method can be UV detected at 200 nm.
