Dichloran , also known as 2,6-dichloro-4-nitroaniline , is a herbicide with the chemical formula C 6 H 4 Cl 2 N 2 O 2 . It is used primarily as a pre- and post-harvest gerbicide on various plants including but not limited to peaches, grapes, lettuce, celery, and more. It works through inhibiting hyphal growth, which delays fungal spore germination.
